the BOO care “World Cat Day Giveaway” – a giveaway

Rules for participation in the prize game "Prize game for World Cat Day" @the_boocare 

Article 1  

(General provisions)  

  • These rules determine the method of conducting the prize game "Prize game for World Cat Day" on @the_boocare (hereinafter: prize game). 

  • The organizer of the prize game is Galex d.o.o., Tišinska ulica 29 G, 9000 Murska Sobota, Email: info@boo-care.si (hereinafter: the organizer).  

  • The rules of the prize game are publicly published on the organizer's website, https://boo-care.si  

Article 2  

(Duration of the prize game)  

The prize game will take place from August 7, 2026, to August 16, 2026, exclusively on the @the_boocare profile and on the organizer's website, boo-care.si. The time for participation in the prize game is from 8:00 PM on August 7, 2026, to 11:59 PM on August 16, 2026.  

Article 3  

(Conditions for participation)  

  • The prize game organizers ensure equal opportunities for all consumers who meet the conditions for participation. Citizens and residents of the Republic of Slovenia who are over 18 years old can participate in the prize game. If the winner is under 18 years old, they must be represented by a person over 18 years old who has the legal right and/or appropriate authorization to represent the minor.  

  • A condition for participation is that participants agree to the rules of the prize game. By participating in the prize game, participants are deemed to agree to all conditions and rules related to the prize game.  

  • The prize game organizers guarantee that the winner selection will be random and independent of their will. This will be done using a computer program that randomly selects a winner from all participants. 

  • Employees of the organizers cannot participate in the prize game. Any such participation is considered invalid. 

Article 4  

(Method of participation in the prize game)  

A participant takes part in the prize game by: 

  • following @the_boocare, 

  • tagging one person in the comments who would also enjoy the mentioned gift and 

  • liking the post and increasing their chances of winning by sharing the post via story. 

Article 5  

(Prizes)  

  • During the prize game, the following prizes will be awarded to 4 different winners (each winner receives 1 gift):  

1x the BOO care Prebiotics and probiotics for cats worth 14.95 EUR 

1x the BOO care Shiny coat worth 14.95 EUR 

1x the BOO care Shiny coat worth 14.95 EUR 

1x the BOO care Multivitamin worth 14.95 EUR 

  • The draw date and the winner will be announced on 17 August 2026. 

  • The prize winner will be announced under the giveaway post on the Instagram profile @the_boocare. 

  • The prize is not redeemable for cash. 

  • Each individual may participate in the giveaway only once.  

  • The received prize is non-changeable.  

  • Winners must provide their details for prize collection to the organiser within 14 days of the results being announced. After this deadline, the right to the prize ceases. 

6. Article  

(Exclusion of liability of the technical contractor)  

The organiser of the prize game and the technical contractor do not assume responsibility for the non-functioning of the online service resulting from network outages of contractual partners, power outages or other technical disturbances that could temporarily disrupt the use of the service.  

 

7. Article  

(Personal data protection)  

(1) Participants in the prize game, by participating in the prize game, agree to the collection of personal data for the purpose of the prize game. 

(2) The organiser and associated persons undertake to protect personal data collected within the scope of this prize game in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVPot) and not to pass them on to third parties.  

8. Article  

(Complaints and dispute resolution method)  

  • Any complaints regarding the prize game and prizes can be sent to the email address: info@boo-care.si 

(2) The organiser and participants of the prize game will resolve disputes peacefully if possible; in cases where this is not possible, the district court has jurisdiction. 

9. Article  

(Taxation and additional information about the prize game)  

The value of each prize does not exceed 42 EUR, so it is not subject to taxation in accordance with valid Slovenian legislation.  

These rules come into effect on the date of the prize game's announcement and are binding for all participants. The terms of the prize game must be interpreted in accordance with Slovenian legislation. 

The authentic interpretation of these rules is determined exclusively by the organiser.  

The organiser of the prize game reserves the right to change the rules and conditions of participation in the prize game if legal reasons (force majeure) require it, undertaking to timely inform participants of the changes publicly on its website.
